Divine Intervention

While we are in the process of raising our kids, the jury is still out as to whether they will embrace faith for themselves.  Your job is to prepare and pave the way for that transition.  But don’t miss this: it doesn’t all rest on your shoulders.  There will be times when you think the story is complete, moments when you think your teen or college student may be a lost cause.

Don’t give up.  Continue to pray.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!”

Ephesians 3:20-21

Do not underestimate the difference God can make.  Trust Him.  His power and presence can affect your parenting more than all your noble efforts.  When it comes to raising kids who love the Lord, He specializes in making up the difference.
